Unicaf University in Zambia Hosts Inspiring Campus Tour for Gap-Year Students from Chikumbuso School
Lusaka, Zambia – July 12, 2024 – Unicaf University (UUZM) proudly hosted a campus tour and career talk session with students from the Chikumbuso Foundation on July 11th, 2024. This event was part of UUZM’s ongoing commitment to promoting higher education and providing valuable opportunities for students across Zambia.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from the Dean of Students, Ms Abigail Chalwe, who set the tone for an informative and engaging day. Ms Chalwe’s remarks emphasised the importance of higher education and the opportunities available through Unicaf University’s diverse programmes and scholarship opportunities.
Following the welcome address, the Dean of Education, Dr Daniel Mpolomoka, led an insightful career talk session. Dr Mpolomoka provided the students with essential guidance on making informed decisions about their educational and career paths. His talk inspired the students and highlighted the various career prospects that Unicaf University can help them achieve.
After the career talk, the students were given a comprehensive tour of the new UUZM campus. This tour allowed them to experience the vibrant campus life, visit key facilities and interact with faculty members. The campus tour was designed to give the students a glimpse into the academic environment and the resources available to support their studies when they ultimately decide to embark on their next academic venture.
The day concluded with a lively photo session and refreshments, providing an opportunity for the students to capture memories of their visit and engage further with the Unicaf University community.
