Unicaf University in Zambia signs MoU with the Centre for Organisation Leadership and Development in Zimbabwe for academic and professional co-operation

In line with seeking strategic partnerships in the academic and professional environment, Unicaf University in Zambia (UUZM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre for Organisation Leadership and Development (COLD) in Zimbabwe for collaboration in the development of mutually beneficial activities and programmes in the academic and professional fields.

The collaboration provides for student and faculty exchanges, joint research, academic retreats and short courses, seminars, workshops and publications, among others.

COLD is a Zimbabwe incorporated, global management consultancy and vocational education and training institution, offering certification and membership in Organisation Development and Leadership. The institution is committed to leading change, facilitating continuous improvement, enhancing individual performance and building effective organisations through the training and education of individuals, teams, leaders and aspiring leaders. COLD strives to provide thought leadership and high value organisational effectiveness consulting, as well as competency-based education and training within the private and public sectors across the globe. It facilitates global professional networking and effective knowledge transfer to improve plans, processes, people and performance in organisations.

Unicaf University’s mission to positively contribute to the educational and economic development of local communities and the region as a whole, through the provision of accessible, internationally recognised educational programmes, which focus on developing professional skills partners well with the mission of COLD to offer professional and academic programmes that are relevant and transformational.

Both institutions expressed the certainty that their collaboration will widen the opportunities available to professionals in Zambia, Zimbabwe and the region for further development and growth.
