Unicaf University Showcases Degree Programmes at 56th Zambia International Trade Fair

The 56th Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) began on the 29th of June and proceeded until the 5th of July, attracting a record number of both participants and visitors alike. This year’s theme was “Promoting Value Addition for Sustainable Growth.”

The Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, the Honorable Mr Chipoka Mulenga, signalled the opening of the fair by lighting the flame in the Show Grounds where 840 local and foreign exhibitors displayed their products and services.   

Unicaf University was in attendance showcasing its bachelor’s and master’s programmes whilst offering generous scholarships of up to 75% to study for an internationally recognised degree. The stall attracted a fair amount of interest from prospective students as well as by other exhibiting companies.

The Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) is the biggest International Exhibition in Zambia that promotes Trade and Investment. ZITF underscores the focal role it plays as a platform for promoting Cross Border Trade and it attracts participation from all sectors of the economy. The Trade Fair is an exhibition for both local and foreign exhibitors to showcase their products and services with a view of establishing new markets and maintaining business linkages.

In addition to agricultural products, machinery and livestock, the trade fair also promoted a wide range of services and products including further and higher education, hospitality and tourism, mining, minerals and gemstones, as well as information technology and computers, transport and automobiles, building materials, textile and clothing products and equipment.
