Unicaf University Zambia hosts second successful Open Day for 2022

Unicaf University Zambia hosted its second Open Day for the year 2022 which was welcomed with much anticipation and excitement.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr Lameck Mwewa, inaugurated the proceedings with his opening remarks, welcoming the participants. This was followed by two presentations; the first from Call Centre Supervisor, Ms Wamusheke Nyambe, who introduced the various programmes on offer at Unicaf University as well as the UK partner universities.

A fascinating presentation on the state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and student support was introduced by the Dean of Students and Lecturer, Ms Abigail Nachilima Chalwe. The VLE is a digital learning platform integrating a working space for educational and business processes allowing learners and teachers to work together while ensuring user security and privacy.

Characterised by several activities including presentations followed by Q & A sessions, a tour of the Unicaf University campus, one-on-one sessions with student advisors with even time for the opportunity to relax over lunch and engage with prospective students, the Open Day was a clear triumph. The success of this Open Day proves that events such as these are incredibly beneficial for potential students who want to engage with other like-minded individuals and meet their potential classmates.
