Unicaf University hosts SHE Entrepreneur Seminar

Unicaf University played host to SHE Entrepreneur at the university amphitheatre on 3rd February, 2023. SHE Entrepreneur held an event for women entrepreneurs with 90 women attending the first in a series of meetings scheduled for this year.

This meeting, in the Founders Circle series – Vision Boarding for Entrepreneurs, attracted a cross section of women from diverse career and business circles who came together to create their visions. The seminar was led and coordinated by Ms Precious Nkandu Lumpa and Ms Inota Cheta, co-founders of SHE Entrepreneur Zambia.

Also in attendance was Unicaf University in Zambia Marketing Officer, Andrew Musonda who introduced a presentation on Unicaf University’s degree programmes. Following the presentation participants were given the opportunity to ask questions on the programmes and scholarships offered by Unicaf University.

She Entrepreneur is a non-profit organisation that provides support to women in business through capacity building. Founded in 2015 at a local university they have since grown beyond those confines and now work with micro-entrepreneurs which pass through their Small Business Academy. They also provide networking opportunities for women business owners.
