Unicaf IAZ MOU Signing

Unicaf University signs MOU with the Insurers Association of Zambia.

On June 21st, 2023, an MOU-signing ceremony was held between Unicaf University and the Insurers Association of Zambia (IAZ), formalising the partnership between the two organisations and expanding the potential for collaboration.

Unicaf University Vice-Chancellor, Dr Christine Mushibwe, expressed her enthusiasm for being able to establish a partnership between UU and the IAZ. She emphasised Unicaf’s dedication to providing accessible and affordable education to students and highlighted its commitment to quality education.

The Executive Director of the IAZ, Dr Nkaka Mwasika, also expressed gratitude for the partnership, conveying the excitement and satisfaction of the IAZ members for the collaboration. He emphasised that the benefits of Unicaf University’s generous scholarships, along with the flexible study schedules, would be valued incredibly highly by their members and suggested using the IAZ magazine to advertise and promote Unicaf University’s Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes.

With over 2000 members in the formal insurance industry, and over 6000 more individuals working in the informal sector, Unicaf University could potentially change the lives of almost 10,000 individuals with scholarship opportunities and educational offerings.

The event concluded with a photo session and a social gathering where attendees enjoyed some drinks and snacks.

Unicaf University looks forward to working with the IAZ, and hopes that their members will be able to benefit from the amazing opportunities available to them through this partnership.
